Most of us blush when embarrassed but Rosacea is a more extreme version and is chronic (long-term). It mainly affects the face and occurs commonly in fair skinned people between the ages of 30 and 50. It affects twice as many women as men, although it is usually more serious in men.
Symptoms are flushing (when the skin turns red), spots and persistent redness of their skin. Small blood vessels (telangiectasias) in the skin may show. It cannot be cured and it does return, but we can help you to control the symptoms.
Treatment is by topical creams or gels. We can also offer IPL Skin Photorejuvenation and VariLite™ Laser.
